...welcome Following the recent merger of the Edinburgh's King's and Festival Theatres in July 1998, Festival City Theatres Trust (FCTT) is delighted to announce details of its programme of events across both Theatres. These seasons reflect the confidence the Company has in building audiences, at The Edinburgh Festival Theatre where a recent production of Aricrimboldo by NDT, and Calamity Jane by Bohemians Lyric Opera Company, at The Kings Theatre have played to large and enthusiastic houses. The King's season also reflects the Company's continuing commitment to local amateur companies, who not only bring their rich range of talents, but also large and enthusiastic audiences to the Theatre. The Festival Theatre continues to present a rich and varied programme reflecting its status as a fine lyric house. The Festival Theatre aims to give you the best and friendliest service and we pride ourselves in those extras that make your theatregoing even more enjoyable: not only our legendary moist tarts, well-filled baguettes and well-stocked bars but, more importantly, our helpful staff who want to ensure that you return. Our knowledgeable box office staff will advise you on the best deal for you. Please note, the Box Office number for both the King's and Festival Theatres is 0131 529 6000. Please disregard any previous numbers you may have held for The King's Theatre. Now browse on with pleasure and surprise and spoil yourself; make a booking or two. Stephen Barry
